Quick Start Guide

What You Need

• MetaMask wallet

• Optimism network setup

• Modern web browser

Setup (One Time)

1. Install MetaMask

• Download from metamask.io

• Create wallet or import existing one

2. Add Optimism Network

• Open MetaMask → Networks → Add Network

• Network Name: Optimism

• RPC URL: https://mainnet.optimism.io

• Chain ID: 10

• Currency: ETH

3. Get ETH on Optimism

• Bridge ETH from Ethereum mainnet

• Or buy directly from exchanges that support Optimism

Using BlueDoku

Create Your First Document

1. Connect Wallet

   • Visit BlueDoku

   • Click "Connect Wallet"

   • Approve MetaMask connection

2. Write Document

   • Click "New File"

   • Write in Markdown editor

   • Real-time preview on the right

3. Publish

   • Click "Publish" button

   • Confirm MetaMask transactions

   • Document encrypted and stored on-chain

Manage Documents

• View Files: All your documents in left sidebar

• Edit: Click any document to edit

• Version History: Access previous versions

• Delete: Soft delete (can be recovered)

Security Notes

• Private Keys: Never share your MetaMask seed phrase

• Encryption: Documents encrypted before leaving your browser

• Ownership: Only you can decrypt your documents

• Backup: Your MetaMask wallet IS your backup

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

• Ensure MetaMask is unlocked

• Check you're on Optimism network

• Refresh page and try again

Transaction Failures

• Check you have enough ETH for gas

• Wait for network congestion to clear

• Increase gas price in MetaMask

Document Not Loading

• Wait for IPFS synchronization

• Try refreshing the page

• Check your internet connection
